A small selection of before and after results, from rhinoplasty to reconstructive work inside the nose, shared with patient consent. Images stay blurred until you choose to view them.
What these terms mean
- Closed rhinoplasty
- The nose is reshaped entirely through the nostrils, so there is no external cut and no visible scar.
- Open rhinoplasty
- A small cut is made across the strip of skin between the nostrils for fuller access. It heals to a barely visible line.
- Primary rhinoplasty
- A first operation, on a nose that has not been operated on before.
- Revision rhinoplasty
- A further operation to refine or correct the result of earlier nose surgery.
- Functional septorhinoplasty
- Straightening the inside of the nose to improve breathing, alongside reshaping the outside.
- Septal perforation
- A hole through the wall between the nostrils, which can cause crusting, nosebleeds and a whistling sound. Closing it needs tissue moved across from within the nose.
Rhinoplasty is offered through Mr Anwar's dedicated clinic, West London Rhinoplasty, where you can see more results and detailed guidance on the procedure.
