Welcome to Mr Mohiemen Anwar’s MBBS PhD DOHNS FRCS (ORL-HNS) Consultant ENT surgeon website.

Mr Mohiemen Anwar is a highly qualified ENT specialist with adult and paediatric NHS practices, based in West Middlesex University Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. His private practice is based in the BUPA Cromwell Hospital, 9 Harley Street and BMI Syon Clinic in West London and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital PPU. Mo endeavours to deliver high-quality care that is local and accessible to both his NHS and private West London ENT patients. He provides localised ENT care to Richmond and Twickenham residents in his weekly Teddington Memorial Hospital ENT clinic.

Mr Anwar is qualified to see both adult and paediatric patients on all of the clinical sites mentioned above. He commands a broad knowledge of all aspects of ENT diseases and conditions, with a main focus on nasal conditions, allergy, sinusitis, nose re-shaping, Nasal trauma and reconstruction, endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinoplasty, balloon tuboplasty and paediatric ENT diseases.

PATIENTS OPINIONS

My daughter saw Dr Anwar for a functional Septo Rhinoplasty. I was apprehensive at first as to whether this would be too invasive for her. However, he explained everything very clearly and made us feel at ease with going ahead with the operation. He was very patient with the many questions that we had and we completely trusted him. We immediately felt in safe hands. He has such a lovely manner- honest, trustworthy, patient, calm, supportive and humorous (which was really nice). He was very accurate with the before and after pictures. My daughters nose appearance changed but it wasn’t obvious that she had Surgery. Her new nose looked great and suited her face. On the functional side it has also improved her breathing due to the deviated septum correction. Dr Anwar was very calming on the day of the surgery and helped all of our nerves. He is a great surgeon and done a fantastic job. Post operatively Dr Anwar was at hand with any questions that we had, where he both checked in on us and his secretary was able to relay any questions to him with a prompt response. We can not praise Dr Anwar enough and if anyone is considering the same surgery please put your trust in Dr Anwar because he is the best surgeon for this.

I cannot praise Mr Anwar enough. From my first consultation with him because of my sudden loss of hearing he has proved to be a marvellous doctor. After the medication he initially prescribed only resulted in a partial improvement he recommended a procedure to cure the problem. I was admitted to The Cromwell ,as a day patient very quickly, where he carried out the operation with complete success. Mr Anwar’s calm, friendly and professional manner inspires confidence in the patient and from my viewpoint I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mr Anwar was friendly and put me at ease but he speaks very fast and I wasn’t sure afterwards if I completely understood how to take the drugs I was prescribed. I felt a little rushed. But he knows his stuff and is top of his field for my condition.
