Teaching the next generation of ENT surgeons
Mr Anwar has organised no fewer than eleven Bart’s FESS and rhinoplasty courses, alongside head and neck dissection courses and a temporal bone course. He helped set up the Bart’s Introduction to ENT course for junior doctors considering the specialty.
He is a regular speaker at international meetings, among them the EAFPS, IFOS in Dubai and IMRHIS, the International Meeting of Rhinoplasty Societies.
Care that reaches further
Away from his clinics, Mr Anwar has given his time in Syrian and Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan, helping to assess and rehabilitate children with hearing difficulties. It is work that never appears on a CV, and it matters to him just as much as anything that does.
He lives in West London with his wife and two children.
